FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Why are your tutors based in college towns?
Because the best tutors are current college students — they know the material deeply, they're close in age to the students they're teaching, and the tutors have recently taken and excelled at the types of courses and exams the students are currently taking. By anchoring our network in college towns, we can offer genuinely elite tutoring at rates that make sense for families.

Q. Can my student meet with a tutor in person?
Yes, for students near the college campus. Most sessions take place on or near campus — a library, a study room, or a café — or online. We'll discuss what works best when you reach out.

Q. Do you offer in-home tutoring?
Occasionally, if the student lives very close to the tutor's campus. Most sessions take place on or near the college campus or online. This keeps sessions in an academically focused environment — which tends to produce better results.

Q. Do you offer online tutoring for students outside your college towns?
Yes. All of our tutors offer online sessions, so students anywhere in the country can work with a tutor from Williams College, Amherst College, Dartmouth, or any of our other partner colleges — regardless of where the student lives.
